Protein Pecan Chai Scones with Maple Glaze

Moist Greek yogurt protein scones with a delicious maple glaze.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cup of all purpose gluten-free flour
  • 1/3 cup of rolled oats
  • 1 tsp of baking powder
  • 1 tsp of cinnamon powder
  • 1 tsp of chai spices
  • 2/3 cup of granulated monk fruit
  • 2 tsp of vanilla extract
  • 1/3 cup of ghee (room temperature)
  • 1 cup of Wallaby Whole Milk Vanilla Greek yogurt
  • 1 organic whole eggs
  • 1/4 cup of crushed pecans
  • Sugar-Free Maple Glaze
  • 1 cup of powdered monk fruit
  • 3 tbsp of sugar-free maple syrup (or regular)

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat the oven at 350F.

Step 2

Mix the dry ingredients for the scones.

Step 3

Add the wet ingredients and mix until fully incorporated.

Step 4

Create 6 scones and place them in a baking tray.

Step 5

Bake for 25-28 minutes (they should look golden)

Step 6

Mix the ingredients for the glaze.

Step 7

Once the scones are baked and cooled top them with glaze.

Step 8

Serve and enjoy!
